Default OT: Most interesting military history websites.

I was just wondering what y'all have found on the 'net that you considered the best military history websites.

My personal choice would be the The National Archives of Canada - they have the war diaries of CEF Infantry Bn.s in WWI, and I even found my Grandad's signing-up papers!

Gramps - 48 years before I was born (lied about his age)

Hmmmmm, the Winter War, nasty bit of business. I just happen to have a Finn Capture M-39 with a 1942 VKT barrel on an 1897 receiver. Don't know when they captured it from the Russians but it could have been during the Winter War. Russians sure got their asses handed to them by the Finns.

Finlands submarines were of German origin. http://uboat.net/boats/vesikko.htm , http://community.webshots.com/album/36590864IuQcst Yeah, the Winter War is the reason why there is no remorse in Finland for fighting the Russians with Germany.
