Was comparing statistics on both these weapons for the akula and noticed there really isnt a single differance other than range and the tubes used to fire them. Is there really any reason to use the SS-N-27ASW over the Stallion (since the stallion has close to double the range) other than if you need your internal tubes for 65cm torpedos or just tube placement in general. Just wondering if there is some deeper differance between the two, since from the surface they pretty much seem like copies of eachother than just use differant tubes. Also if you guys could help me would with information for the same question in DW (if there is any differance). Im planning on switching over really soon.
