Looks like the cloaking device is not yet fully operational!

It seems that someone welded your periscope head to the conning tower.

You might want to get that fixed when you get back to base.

Isn't that one of the "Upgrades" in the later war years so you can fire the Deck Gun over the Stern of the boat?

What skin mods are you using for the Type VII B/C?

Did any of these skin mods involve changing the .dat file for the Type VII B/C?

And how did you edit the draft of the C3 with the SH3 Color Inspector?... isn't that for just water color?....

I've been reading about this changing the C3 draft.... but no one has yet posted a 'how-to' edit...

If I'm not wrong, that's a typical problem of "damage" sections. Try to uninstall the full vulnerabilty mod.

@ Duke of Earl, I dont believe ive done any changes to the .dat file. The only change ive made to the VII series is some modifications to the crush depth. Now, for your question about the c3. If you have the sh3 inspector, all you have to do is click on the ships tab at the top, then click on the drop down menu labeled ship. Select the c3 cargo. Now, over to the right there is a section labeled general. The first row is the only thing to worry about. The def draft you cant change, but set the surfaced draft to 12 or 13, then click save above changes at the bottom. Voila, your c3 now looks like a normal ship.

Thanks for the info on the C3 draft... now, all I got to do is find the SH3 Inspector that you are referring to... cause all mine does is change water colors...

I've got most of the mods on your list installed too... no problems... when I did have this problem, I fixed it, but I can't remeber how...

Do you see this problem only when a lot of ships have been spawned?... or all the time?

What is 'SH3 torploads'?

Actually i first encountered this on a custom mission i set up where i have 5 merchants barrelling through a dense minefield. :rotfl: I surfaced after all the ships had sunk and noticed this problem that seems to happen only when i am facing about 30-45 degrees off the starboard bow from behind (as in the shot). Sh3 torploads is something i ran across in the stickied modlist in the mods workshop forum, it changes the heads on torpedoes in the initial loadout screen so you can easily tell which is which, apparantly the game re-usues torpedo heads. I believe i found the sh3 inspector in the same place, i'll try to find a link for you.

Thanks... got the SH3 Inspector and reset the C3 draft to 13... now, it doesn't look like a freak anymore...

Is this custom mission the only time you see this transparent conning tower?... does it happen in any of the stock missions that done't have a lot of spawns or dense minefields?
