I have been playing Pacific Aces on my computer with Windows ME without any problems. I recently upgraded to Windows XP and now whenever I select the periscope screen I get the following error:
Tue Mar 5 13:18:00 2002 Error -2005532292 [(ddrval!=DD_OK)] DirectX code: "DDERR_OUTOFVIDEOMEMORY" \Projects\Ultimation\Janus2\Windows\Sources\BD3DEn g.cpp Line 3579 I had the Kollmorgan periscope mod installed but edited the dsf file as per Darkstream's post so I could just go to the scope view. Like I said, everything was fine on ME, but with XP I get the above error. Thanks for any help. Gus |

Was having graphics problems with the Kollmorgen scope. Try re-installing PA without the Kollmorgen option. You'll be using a scope without a detailed compass heading (no one degree increments which will affect manual TDC), but I've been able to sink about 50,000 tons per patrol regardless.
