Exiting a career mission and coming back to it the next day

I haven't played SH4 v1.4 (also U-Boat Add On) in a while. I decided to give the Career Mode a try.

When I end my session in the middle of a patrol, how does it get saved without seeing Mission Failed in the result?

What is the proper method for saving your place in the patrol>

Your game saves just fine. Any time you exit the game on patrol it will show the mission summary screen. If you complete any assignments they’ll be listed as such. Unfinished assignments will show failed.

When you reload you’ll be right where you left off and can still complete your missions.
