Ahoy!
Having a dabble with DW again and I have installed RA mod. I read in a Steam guide that it`s possible to have 1920x1080 resolution if one installs dxwnd. This I did and set it up accordingly but game would not run. I got error message box every time - " Failed to initialize graphics" or words to that effect.
Is this because RA and dxwnd do not like each other or have I done something wrong? I have uninstalled dxwnd and RA works fine on 1280x1024. Appreciate any help on the matter.

Hello, there! So, unfortunately, the only resolutions available for Dangerous Waters are: 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024, and 1600x1200. There is no support for native widescreen resolutions. If you play the game full screen filling every pixel at 1920x1080, it will be one of those other resolutions stretched to fit, so there will be aspect ratio distortion. Some people are fine with that but I prefer unstretched.

Is there a way to set it to 1440x1080 resolution? That is 4:3 aspect ratio. (I forgot, haven't played around with that DXwind app in ages.) Worst case you get full screen black bands on the sides.
