Default Wierd glitch in OM darkwaters assignment

I'm in Kiel getting my orders after a successful mission in which I sank the glorious north of Britain. I'm supposed to take photos in Freemantle!!! LOL.

yeah, that happens.
we never could figure that phenomenon out.
send me your flotilla location, your boat type and the date and i'll take another whack at finding the problem.

KaleunMarco, have them look in the whole Save folder (C:\Users \UserName \Documents \SH4 \cfg \SaveGames), and find the two latest numbered folders under there, and alter the CareerTrack.upc file to get a different "PlayerCurrentObjectives=IDxxx" number of a valid "local" assignment. Use Flotillas & PatrolObjectives to find a known-good mission ID that is NOT in the CareerTrack file.

For an actual "fix", the ...cfg \UserPLayerContextGE \ Flotillas.upc file might have to be edited, as well as the UPCDataGE \UPCCampaignData version (I don't remember that now). 1Patriotofmany is "falling through" to the default German Career mission ID set. Either missing an assignment for the time period (like you found in FotRSU), or a bad ObjectiveCode - AllMatch between Flotillas and PatrolObjectives, or maybe an empty AllMatch pool of missions...

04 July 1940 Kiel U15 Type IIB Well it would be nice to actually be able the find the thread for which it's supposed to be discussed, didn't know it was required. Is there a mod forum separate anywhere that's easy to find? I haven't seen any particular section that breaks up the forums into every mod made?

What is an ATO mod? Wouldn't be easier to break them up into a MODS forum then individual mods, I mean I certainly wouldn't want it to be easy to find the forums for each mod?

ATO = Atlantic Theater of Operation... means that OM is considered a more.. Atlatic Operations mod, than say... FotRS or TMOverhauled v2.5 HB version or the original one... which is more... geared towards the Pacific side of the war.

Hope that helps...

my apologies for the delay in responding...been celebrating the marriage one of my younger cousins ( i think i may have lost some significant hearing capacity).

however, it appears that M.M. has jumped in an answered you. thanks, buddy.

as for finding the proper forum to post your question, i have found that performing a google-search (or something similar with the search engine of your choice) leads to better results that doing a site search.

now, lastly, thank you for the career details (04 July 1940 Kiel U15 Type IIB) i'll try and check it today and respond.
