A good compass mod?

I was hoping to find a new compass compatible with TWOS. I saw one on YouTube which I can’t find now that looks like the real ones with the spinning center dial.

This mod would replace the one that pops up when you press C.

Have you tried to set other GUI views in the OFEV? You can set SH3 or SH4 style instruments.

With SH3 style instruments you can have an even bigger compass. You have to change with OptionsFileEditorViewer the value in the option: "Dials" and in "Heading zoom factor on mouse in" for example Value = 600 (or the value you prefer) and in Dials in "Heading dial can zoom" activate " True"if it is not already activated. In this way the commands for a new route can be given with an accuracy of at least 10 ° if not greater. The compass is enlarged only when the mouse is above the compass, then the compass returns to the normal size.

To activate SH3 Style you have to use "OptionsFileEditorViewer" in the data / Applications and you have to activate in the "UI" option the "UI Style used in-game": "SH3Style".

Hi everyone, longtime lurker here

Although this is an older thread, I would also be interested in that gyro compass. According to the comments of this video , it is included in the russian version of TwoS.

I was able to modify the values with the OFEV but couldn't find the option to change the GUI to SH3. I really want the old style U-boat compass. Where can I find that plz?

You can change the UI-Style via OFEV.
