Hi All does anyone know where to get V1.5 Patch for Silent Hunter 5
DVD version or does it only come with the steam version

The v1.5 is an SH4 versioning. SH5 only does v1.2, and you go through the Ubisoft UConnect app for that... which is an adventure I am undertaking once again as we "speak"...

That's all I could find too, but deferred to others with more expertise...figuring Swannie had messed up his Roman numerals ie: 'V' instead of 'IV'...in fact I'm so worn out from ceaseless searching half the night, seriously impeding my beauty rest: looking under "1.5 mod for SHV" online...to no avail; I'm gonna need an IV myself!

Sorry to bother you with this topic, but I was wondering if you have or know where can I find the V1.5 patch for SH5, assuming that you play it. I have SH5 disk but I suppose it one of the early versions released to the market and I finally got the bug for playing it, but I am stuck because most of the mods created need the V1.5 patch. After intense searches in the web, I gave up because all of them are fake or plagued with virus...

I know it can be purchased but I was trying not to do that.

Any info about it will be most welcome. I didn't know anyone else to ask, so sorry for the question and hope you are OK. Long time I don't see you posting in the SH3 Forums.

blackswan40, if he needs/wants the v1.5 of SH4, then he is kind of stuck. No one has that anymore. It was payware, and for whatever reason, Ubisoft has removed it from their site. Of course though, the full "Gold Edition" from them (which is the updated v1.5 version) is available in the US Ubisoft Store at Silent Hunter 4 DLC - PC (DOWNLOAD) for $10US, and will probably be "on sale" for a discount shortly for the Thanksgiving / Christmas holiday season. They watch when Steam discounts their titles, and then either match or beat them...

Hi Guys
Just popped in for a quick look and spotted theis post.
When you install SH5 you must immediately do this
Update SH5 From v1.0.5.0 To v1.2.0 Immediately After Installing > Pictorial
