Default Taking to the high seas again on GWX-KC

Guten tag fellow Kaleuns. In a burst of nostalgia I decided to fire up SH3 again last night. I haven't played it in over 10 years. Had to buy it on Steam because my PC no longer has a CD drive lmao.

Imagine my surprise to find a new release of the classic GWX. Thank-you, lads, I'm going to play the arse off this.

Career will be full realism, DiD, my usual, although I think I will be playing a lot more cautiously than I did in olden times. SH3 with DiD has fostered a taste in me for survival games with the same mechanic.

Anyhoo, my first patrol was pre-war, putting my crew and boat through their paces as I got to grips with commanding again. Surprisingly, I still remember a lot of the controls. Like riding a bike. I've returned to Wilhelmshaven before the first real big adventure begins.

One thing I noted, though, was that the when I used the stadimeter on the UZO, the base line disappeared and a ranging line appeared, just a single line. Worked fine in the periscope, with two lines, but I've not tried it on a hostile target yet, so it could just be that.

Welcome back to SH3!

That issue with the UZO's stadimeter is fixed, and that fix will be in a forthcoming update for GWX KC

Thank-you it's been a while. That's good news, I'll just persevere with peeking the attack scope up for now while surfaced.
