Hello!
So, I was bugging out about the 10 or so minutes it was taking to start up and load a save for TWOS, when my riva tuner crashed I was using rivatuner to lock my fps to 40, with it unlocked, it now takes 2 minutes. So, just a heads up for anyone using a hard fps limit, it seems to impact the loading times for savegames |

This should be in every tweak help and big mod readme, the waiting for the main menu is almost the same, a bit shorter only but when loading the patrol or bunker, the difference between frames limited to 60 and unlimited is big. with uniimited frame rate i get a lot shorter loading times.
Would capping the framerate actually 'liberate' some cpu and gpu load to be used by the loading. ![]() Last edited by Nicolas; 10-27-18 at 01:09 PM. |
