Iv been assigned patrol area AN7932. Iv found an79. NE of the dover straights. And I pulled up the grid tool in twos and I figured out I can manipulate the tool to fit inside the box. But how do I read it exactly?

Well you manipulate it so it fits into the box. And then you will see where your desired grid is. Take out a marker tool and put it in the middle of your patrol area. Then press E again to get rid of the grid tool and place the X to mark the trea.. ehh patrol area. That's how you read it.

Thank you, I was thinking that was how to read it but I wanted to be sure before I started chugging out there.
