One of our sport channel is broadcasting live 3-6 hours each day from this championship until the final 1st of January.
Does anyone of you follow this or do you prefer to play it with friends at the local pub instead? Markus |

Back in the mid eighties I played the then world champion John Lowe in an exhibition game (one leg, straight start, double finish). He missed double eight with his third dart and I took out 69 (single 19 and bull finish) using the first two of my three darts. Happy days and I've still got the newspaper containing an article on the occasion and accompanying picture for a keepsake. |

I'm not a fan of Dart, it's interesting to watch though. When watching it I can't help remembering my own youth. In these days, my colleague and I used to play dart at the local pub. I had bad aim and drinking beer didn't make it better.
I have, while watching some of the matches an interesting thing. They spectators behind the players are not a silent mob. It's funny how some type of players need absolutely silence, like a Tennis player and some Markus |
