Hi guys I'm new so I'm still learning.
I turned off the duds but when I'm an American submarine if I do super close range shots on ships they just hit and bounce off. Is there something else here I don't know about? Is there a required arming distance for American torpedoes? I don't seem to have this problem with the Germans Thanks |

You shouldn't be any closer that 350-400 yards, and it really should be no closer than 600 yards for them to "arm", especially if the target vessel is moving toward you...

Ah thank you, that's got to be it. I surfaced right behind a ship in the middle of a convoy and I was only about 100m off his bow so that would explain it
