Play minus Uplay launcher?
Is it possible to play without the Uplay Launcher? I seem to remember that there was a way around it but can't remember how it was done.

You can disable Uplay to play offline. Post #69 How To Play Silent Hunter 5 Offline! In TDW's Generic File Patcher you can disable the Uplay Browser by enabling the patches from false to true. Peter
