Draw Distance

Is there a way to change the terrain draw distance? I was really hoping to get a nice view of Mt Fuji, but even from right off the coast all I can see is Mount A****aka, whose only advantage is being a few miles closer to shore.

Edit - apparently that mountain's name is so holy as to be unmentionable. I hope I didn't offend anyone
