Default SH3 Commander Question

Hey everyone,

I felt as thought i as just getting the hang of SH3 Commander when i seem to have run into a bit of a road block. I have set the "days in port" to 21. When i launch SH3 via SH3 Commander and load my saved career it still says August 7th 1939 (the day i returned from the shakedown patrol). When i go to acquire a new patrol it's giving me the same shakedown patrol just a different grid.

I'm newer to Sh3 in general so i'm a bit confused and nothing i dug out really shed light on the issue Thanks ahead of time.

Under General Settings do you have Commander set to 'Roll back automatically after exiting SH3'?

My "shakedown patrol" lasts just a few minutes. I have 'Days In Base' set for 18, which means I'm one of the fourteen U-boats sent out historically on August 19th. After that I keep it set for 'Random'.

Thanks for the reply Steve. I do not have that function checked. I was attempting to follow the historical flow but i couldn't seem to advance past the 7th of August (the date i returned from my shakedown).

I'm not sure what the problem might be. I don't have any of the troubles you've been encountering, and I know that 'Auto Rollback' is the best way to go. I'm not sure if that will help or not.

I ended up going nuclear and wiping my profile to begin with but im going to activate that now (The new port at Wilhelmshaven really threw me for a loop and i didn't want a blemished service record with having wrecked a shiny new uboat :P). Just for my own piece of mind, you load SH3 via SH3 Commander and then load a save from within the game, correct?

That's right. Launch SH3 from SH3 Commander and then load the game and you are good to go.
