[REL] Kriegsfischkutter (KFK) Little Mod

Hi there. Let me intoduce to you, my minimod for a GWX 3.0 KFK Boat.

Kriegsfischkutter MOD for SH3 GWX 3.0

This mod is JSGME Compatible.

Description:

There are two different options

1)Kriegsfischkutter for all nations with 37mmGun 1939-1942

2)Kriegsfischkutter for all nations with 3inchGun 1939-1942

Both of them, have 20mmGBdouble autocannon in rear "wintergarden" starts from 1939.
Because it looks cool and almost all nations used it, and its variations, in WW2.
(Hispano-Suiza, British Hispano, MGFF, etc. All of them were deep modifications of the Oerlikon FF)

From 1943 this boat becomes a support antisub flakboat with 37mmDouble and DCs

"3inchGun" is an option, because there are not so many deckguns in the game,
and this gun looks more historical, then the others. And, because, why not?!

All nations have it, cause even small country can buy some old guns
and upgrade pile of wood into a gunboat, for patrol and escort duty)))

I did not touch the description in the museum, because i dont know english good.
Maybe later.

INSTALLATION:

Just choose any of 2 folders and put it in "MODS", than activate through JSGME

DO NOT PUT THEM BOTH!

P.S.

I made this mod cause i love small armed boats

Avoid em, or try to skirmish. They are not so tough and burns well.
You can destroy it even with your 20mmGun (if you are a skillful gunner and taking down enemy gun crew first.)

Anyway, they dont let you get bored

I made this mod with GWX 3.0 installed, and do not guarantee you, that it'll work without it.

Just let me know if something goes wrong.

But the depth charges launchers still don't work.

And there is a problem when the ship is torpedoed :

I am sorry, as i said before, i am not the original author of the ship model. I just added this ship to all nations roster and bring it new guns. Thats all. Sry. I cant 3D modeling.

I did that because only AXIS has this ship in roster before, and you were not able to fight it without penalty to your renown.

No, it's not the same unit... Oh I'm an idiot, this unit is released with GWX 3.0 (NPTV_KFK).

I have reworked the 3D model thanks to Tom"s plan, but I have some small problems with textures (red circles on the picture below). And I don't manage to make the DC launcher work.

Could someone help me ? (PM me)

By the way, I'm searching for a better modeled patrol craft / armed trawler.

This is a unit that we meet very frequently, and it's probably the worst modeled unit of the game. I really would prefer something like that (in the middle) :

OK, the DC launcher I've installed works perfectly now !

Any help for the texture problem ? See post 9.

Now that's interresting about new DC launcher.

BTW, for those who dont know: You can change the equipment of this boat, just by editing NPTV_KFK.eqp (Data\Sea\NPTV_KFK) with your WordPad. Be sure to write a correct names of any new guns.
