I noticed in several photos of US WW2 submarines that I looked at on the NAVSOURCE.ORG website, had a 20mm on the deck opposite the deck gun, either on the M01 or M02 position depending on which side of the conning tower the deck gun was positioned. I tried playing with the files to see if I could do the same, but am not having any success getting it to appear...Has anyone else done this? ...and if so. how?

Way back in the SH4 v1.x time frame there was a text modding tutorial someone was running that I was eagerly following.
He managed to do what you are thinking of in the UPC files...... then 'poof' - the tutorial stopped. I don't know why he stopped - maybe he went back to SH3 - ?? - I don't know... I'll never know, but it was nice while it lasted. FOUND IT: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=128825 Mush Martin's "Community Simple Text Modding Tutorial For New Modders" Happy Hunting!

I have been looking over the USS BALAO files because the late war Balao has two 5_25 deck guns on both fore and after deck gun positions...but it's not as simple as adding another M01 or M02 heading in the .EQP files...I'm still experimenting with different file configurations to see if anything works...stay tuned...However, if anyone has any ideas, feel free to post...and thanks in advance.
