hey guys, in the Q ship mod I have to copy and paste ship names into the ship names CFG file in sh3 commander. I pasted the ship names into the CFG file, but when I tried to close the CFG file and click save changes a message showed up saying ,"access denied to program files x86\sh3 commander\cfg\ship names CFG. What does that mean and how do I get access so I can finish this part of the installation?

If you are running Win 7 or 8, install SH3 Commander outside of the Program Files. Same for SH3 itself. From an earlier post ( another member ) on a similar topic:
------------------- The key point is that starting with Win7, Microsoft has started imposing a lot of restrictions on anything in the Program folders - either Program itself or Program (x86). These are measures that supposedly deter or impede hackers and other malicious programs. Part of it is not allowing any files in those folders to be changed except under very rigorous controls - so any .cfg files are fairly well wonked. Main idea is to install any files that are constantly being written to in any other folders than the Program ones. |

Not sure, someone will get to this. No need in starting a new thread.
