Default SH4 and deck gun took 11 shots to sink a junk

Hi anyone know why the deck gun took 11 shots to sink a junk??

Seems weak

Junks in the real world are hard as hell to sink with gunfire. So, it's probably working as intended, whether it knows it or not.

Easy to disable though.

Use your Anti-Aircraft shells on the deck gun. They are to the right of your HE shells, should take you no more than a couple of shots at most and aim for the hull.

Actually as with the Age of Sail, ie: 'the wooden world', wooden warships were hard to sink; barring fire of course. Junks and Dhows are wooden built. Even In WWI barrels were placed in Q ships for just that attribute. And welcome aboard Anotherdemon! on your first post! Always good to see another fallen angel avatar/name at

I always use the AA gun on junks. Made me mad when I first got the gato class and the fair water blocked my view to shoot them. Just got the next conning tower without the metalwork in my way, so happy days again!
