Never had a career end this quickly before! Any one else get an early retirement like this. My usual retirement is me ending up dead

That is quick.

I don't think I've ever had one that quick but when I do get retired it's always an unpleasant surprise and too soon compared to historical careers. I usually switch retirement and crew transfers off, then do them all manually myself.

If that was real life you'd be gutted if you were taken off the boat at Oberleutnant - once a commander transferred out of frontline duty promotion ground to a halt (same in the RN today....) and Kapitänleutnant was the point where pension and pay took a step up.

Badges...I still have not figured out how SH3 works in regard to badges. My last two careers lasted quite a while before being cornered and sunk....plenty of medals, but no badges in either career

This career just flat surprised me ending so quick....maybe it had something to do with the admiral's daughter

Good day her kaleun!
I have a commander that forced to retired quickly after he manage to sneak on Lerwick Harbor and sink some ship.
Maybe the higher up think he is too valuable to let him die in battlefield.

Have yet to have that happen to me while using Commander...the only time my captains retire early is courtesy of the enemy.
