Hi all,
Things i have noticed from day one in SH5: - My hydro guy is mixing fast/medium/slow speed when anouncing contacts, and it's never reflecting real boat's speed (i.e many times he says fast speed for a 12 knots real speed...) If i recall well, it's the first SH opus doing this mix... ![]() - When listening propellers at hydro station, it doesn't reflect the real boat's speed...some are turning/running very slow (like for a boat running 5 knots) but boat's speed is in fact 12/13 knots. And inverse too! Though, it seems accurate for warships ![]() I think we should be able to estimate boat's speed by hearing its propellers! (would be really cool, as i think - correct me if i'm wrong - it was the case in others SH...) So i'm wondering if there is a way to fix those problems? |

Concerning the hydro contact announcing, i flipped the lines 8055 and 8056 of menu text to put slow in first (as readed here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...postcount=1651
It seems to have worked...but nevertheless, first hydro speed report is always wrong (the one when the guy is speaking). I have to ask him again, and at second report, it seems ok... Nobody for the propeller? ![]() |
