Default Famous Quotes

There is a thread, "Quote of the Day." it is quite funny but I feel there should be one with real quotes, famous quotes from those on the Battlefields to those who ruled Empires.

To start off, I'll quote one of my favorites,
"All are lunatics, but he who can analyze his delusions is called a philosopher."
-Ambrose Bierce

"I have not yet begun to fight!"

Captain John Paul Jones said this during the famous battle between Bonhomme Richard and Serapis on 23 September 1779 after one of his crew allegidly begged him to surrender saying, "Sir, we have lost this fight!"
