Default Question about square and non-square Textures

Hey Mates,

here is a special question for the artist of graphic design...

i am still in the need of help from you. i am still working to get the attackdisk running and i have the problem that the touchpads are screwed up by turning the items.

As i had a look at radcarpicorns threat about mouse movement he pointed out, that the images has to be squared textured.....but how????

still surfing arround the www and try to find a hint...

anybody an idea???

Best Regards and thanks for your help

Best Regards

Hello, DrJones.
I understand very little English. And maybe I did not understand the question ...
Circular disk, and you are required not only the texture of the circle, but the whole square. A square should be transparent?
Try it. Create a separate "Layer". Fill it with black. And then make it transparent to the minimum. Then combine it with a round disc. Visually, the background will be transparent and the human eye will not perceive it on the screen. A "Computer" will perceive it as a "Texture."
I could be wrong. But try.

arrgh maybe i got it....the image has to be a square like 500 dpi x 500 dpi and not like 500 dpi * 250 dpi....so i have to change the resolution of the images from the attackdisk...

The quarter is falling pennywise...

That's correct

another suggestion: it is always better making your textures powers of 2 in size: 128x128, 256x256, 512x512, etc
