Default [WIP] Cobalt's Type7c41 plus additions by Aces

Hi folks,

By request I have added my crew on deck feature to Cobalt's excellent Type7c41 hull shown here with type 7c1 Super Turm. I also added waterstreams and exhaust smoke. Below a WIP screenshot. I have sent Cobalt a PM to ssek his permission to release this mod. All being well I'll release this as an additional mod to be installed after my Super Trums v6 mod and Cobalt's Type 7c41 mod.

Regards

Aces

PS. I also wanted to lightmap it but I cannot get Flakmonkeys Maya tutorial setting to work as they have in the past even though I've had several goes (:

Aces, thats amazingnice work. I wanted to ask if you had any plans to tackle the new interiors mod (FM plus forward torpedo, aft torpedo rooms) , using these new files overwrites a bunch of your old work including urfishes water drips, damo lighting and FM light maps, and some other things I belive.

Thanks chaps,

Hi mate,

I have installed the new torpedo rooms mod, just the RR.dat not the CR.DAT as well. I'm not sure what the CR.DAt includes that's new, if it is just the 3d model then I could change the one in my CR.DAT file for the "new" model", I'll have to see what's new in this mod it might be easier to add his CR stuff to the CR.dat in Super Turms than the other way round assuming that one can identify the changes, it might be as simple as importing his model in or it might be more problematical I don 't know yet. There is a problem with the camera out of sectors things but I'm working on fixing that, in fact, after the type7c41 stuff is released it'll be my next project .

Cheers

Aces

Oi, Aces Mate...i remember Cobalt's Boot had some clipping issue / or missing surface at the keel.
Was that ever addressed?

Other than that...good to have you back. Work your mojo!

Thanks mate,

I think that I've got the latest (and last?) version of his boat. I've not had a lot of time with it but I'll have a look at the issue you raised.

Cheers

Aces: Can you do an optional mod for use the Cobalt boat as VIIC, with SuperTurms? (not VIIC/41). I see that in your screenshot.

Also: I don´t remember (I havent´t the Cobalt boat installed now) if the Cobalt´s includes the FlakMonkey interiors, and if the turms have the possibility of emblems-your-way. Please, take consideration of both questions in the new mod.

Best regards.

Hi mate,

You can use Flakmonkey's interiors with it, okay on the 7c41 as 7c, that's what I've done.

Cobalt's mod is purely the hull, no turms

Many thanks!

Regards.

EDIT:

Now I see I have a serious memory (brain) problem with Type VIIC/41:

You are working the Cobalt, but that special VIIC/41 I had is the Tomi´s:

...And now I don´t know what version is better...

Yes....

I reinstall the VIIC/41 by Tomi. These are some images taken in my SH3 GWX:

@Aces (I´m sorry, more requests...):

What about to have the SuperTurms in this model? I mean: UZO and all that fixed stuff (flags, pennants, antennas...), with keys to activation-deactivation.

What about to have the crews on deck?

FM Interiors works in the model. Interior animations and effects work fine in this model (hatches, smoke in the galley, gramophone...)

Damo´s lights works in this model.

I don´t know if youcan contact Tomi for authorizations, but a SuperTurms for this boat will be a must have, I think

Best regards.
