Default modsoup causes indigestion (CTDs)

hi to all!

I thought I'd create a separate topic to gather more minds at work here...

I'm having CTDs on several occasions:

. If I ask weather report to navigator and depth u keel (other things works, like returning to course and Head to view etc.)
. If I click play on gramophone
. Occasional random CTDs, especially on getting closer to ships while using OHII full (on a previous modsoup)

already tried two complete change to my modsoup orders, without better result

Tried OH2 lighter basemod because I experienced a lot of CTDs with full version on a previous similar modsoup, though I don't know whether it really was responsible...

PS: "grammo" is just a custom mod that only contains a bunch of musics, no UI change

for memory issues, my system is on w7(x64), 6gb

only a little brainstorm.

In your list the TDW patcher is installed before the NewUI. I install the patcher at last and get the info from JSGME that two files are already installed of the NewUI. Maybe there´s an approach.

Just like Kalleblom i installed TDW`s patcher at the end.
I myself,because of my bad-english,are a little puzzled about this:
Download additional crew sound`s Beta 6 (include HOTFIX 3): http://subsim.armedassault.eu/Stormy...unds_beta6.rar

Does above mean the fix is already included in that download,or does it mean you have to also include that fix ?

It means that in this download the hotfix is include. If it´s an extra folder or if it´s include in one mod i don´t know.

So i´ve checked the download. And it seems that the fix is in the mod included, so no separate folder. In this case you´re right, so KZS can take it out. But i think that wouldn´t solve the problem, because according to the logic the crewsound mod overwrite the files of the hotfix with the indentical files, so doesn´t matter in my view.

Moin KZS,

don't know if ist works, but i few proposals.

For the Equipment try this Order:
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_byTheBeast
Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1
#Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_Patch_1_HotFix
Eqp_Upgrades_fix_v1.4 dates by sober Patch V2

Then, if I remember correctly, you have to put the FX Update before the NewUI and the IRAI after.

The Crew Mod, don't know exactly, but the Mighty Fine most i saw before NewUI.

Water Disturbence don't need when using the actual IRAI 37.

And at least, for what is the Personal Commands mod and be sure it works with the NewUI, don't know if it's better to enable after.

Only ideas and thoughts, no entitlement to be successful

I just think that for some randomly unknown reasons, TDW's New_ui 7_1_0 is just not compatible with my computer for some of the functionalities...

Gonna revert back to some previous one, only I've got 6_5_1... anyone does have the last one just prior to 7_1_0 ?

that could be something else indeed, but given all CTDs are concentrated upon requests on certain parts of the GUI, it seems the most obvious for the time being

do anyone still have a link to some older version? I'll ask magic man TDW
the only spare one I kept is 6_5_1, a bit old
