Default Thought I'd pop in and say HI

Hey all

I'd pretty much given up on subsims after the release of SH5 (it just wasn't the type of game I'd hoped for)
But recently I've felt the urge to go out and sink stuff again, so I went and got SH4 (gold obviously) and was quite impressed. It's a really nice smooth game and it seems a bit less buggy than SH3.

Anyway I thought I'd pop in and say hi to all here, and also thank all the modders for their amazing work.

All I have to do now is learn where the shipping lanes are and I'm laughing

Welcome back!

Look into the mega mods as they really do enhance the experience.

Thanks mate

I'm currently running RFB and RSRD together which seems like a good way to ease myself back into the game again.

Once I start to really get the hang of things I'll probably go TMO.

If you have the hard drive space, Multi SH4 is a great little tool, as you can multiple careers, or multiple mods at one time. I broke down and got a 1TB drive, just for that purpose and all the mods I had collected for SH4, especially the radio program mods, and WWII era music.

I got SH4 for the exact same reason as you did.

SH5 will eventually be absolutely amazing, but the urge to terraform the ocean's bed using ship parts in pure enjoyment was too great.

Oh, you're back, huh?

I hope you remembered to wipe your feet.
