Default Realism Settings

So, what do various people around here use for gameplay settings? I know that the goal is immersion...but is it true to life if you had to do every little thing by hand? You might as well have a one-man sub...for that reason I have map contact updates turned on, mimicing a switched-on navigator updating the map with sonar/radar/hydrophone contacts.

Also, for now, I have manual targeting off - no real reason there, although surely you'd have had teamwork on the firing solutions, just that I'm trying to get to grips with the game before trying that big step!

I usually have stabilise view turned off too - the sea state can be a double-edged sword, it feels like cheating if it's a disguise and not a hinderance.

Everything else is realistic...

I go from 83%-100%, just depends on time and mood I'm in.

One thing I must have is stable binocs, can't stand how they flop around, hurts my eyes.
