Worst idea for a Beatles "Reunion" Ever?

Not going to happen, the expectations for them to be as good as their fathers would be a bit more pressure then the could deal with. Best to let this idea go away!

Why would any one assume that the offspring of an artist will have anything like the skill of the parent?

My old man is an Optical Engineer. I don't know squat about Optical Engineering nor do I have any innate ability in Engineering as a whole.

These kids may be good musicians in their own right, but then they need to be judged on their own merit, not who their parents were.

If they had any moxie, they would change their names and attempt to make their own way with their music.

Ultimately it would be pointless.

Platapus's third line nailed it. They don't need this. If they did do it would have to be just for the fun of it, not for any real reason. They seem to already be better than that.

The Beatles were a unique mixture of nature and nurture. Without their respective upbringings and early friendships developed around their love for music they would never have done what they did.

To think that their children brought up under vastly different circumstances could replicate their parents feats is ridiculous.

It might be a bit of fun for them to do but on the whole I don;t see the point other than making some money from the venture. Money being probably the least of their worries, given their parents fortunes.

Is Julian Lennon an outcast from this group? I remember he put out an album some years ago, which wasn't too bad. Never heard anything by Sean, but if he performs like his Mother, I'd get Julian quick!

Julian is a full generation ahead of this group. I doubt he has much to do with them professionally, even Sean.

I was always amazed how much Julian sounded like his father.
