Respect For SH III

Hi everybody.

Well I bought and tried Silent Hunter V. With mods installed I thought it was fine and I can see that with time and with more work it could be great. But for now the seven year old Silent Hunter III with the GWX mods installed has won me back completely. I think it's just great

I can see a parallel between Silent Hunter III and IL-2. IL-2 has hung on since 2001... 2003 in IL-2 1946's graphics engine. They're still playing it on the hyperlobby. When IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs Of Dover is finished they will probably finally switch over. IL-2 and Silent Hunter III have something in common. I think there are quite a few of us IL-2 people who end up playing two sims because both are so good.
