HELP! Raduz's Hydrophone Hunting Tutorial Question

Hello to everybody, I have an urgent question about Raduz's hydrophone hunting tutorial from way back in 2007. I am running GWX 3.0 (Gold) and in part of the readme about putting the files in the right places, the following is stated....

"Copy SH3.sdl to the SH3/data/sound or, if you have modified this file and you want to keep your settings,
use the SH3 file analyzer to change the "Ambient hydrophone ---- Wave-amb.Hydrophone.wav" volume to 93
(SH3.sdl, line 2989"

Since this mod was put out when GWX 1.3 (?) was out it suggests that I should copy SH3.sdl under the sound file. I noticed that I already have this file under ''sound'' AND, this file is not included in the download. I'm not sure if the mod will run fine with the file that I already have or if the mod is completely obsolete by now. I also noticed that two out of the four training missions don't seem to run and crash to the desktop. Any help at all on this topic is very appreciated and I hope to hear back soon.
