Default Actor “beyond shocked” after seeing leg amputated in altered ad

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/sideshow...173035069.html

I thought this was interesting, particularly his "threat" to do "revenge" ads...

Berry said his main objection over the advertisement is how it could affect his acting career.
The top half of his face isn't even in the advertisement! Why is this guy whining and moaning about something that he knew could happen when he signed that waiver form?

This guy needs to be a prescribed a heavy dose of "man the hell up."

Having lived in Hollywood for over 40 years and known some actors and models, I can tell you for a fact that how a project or "shoot" is presented to an actor/model and how it ends up is often wildly different. You can be told one thing and find out later you have been had by the person doing the project. Imagine if you went in to do a shoot for a clothing company and then later see your image being used for a personal hygiene or laxative ad, all because the original photographer/agency "owns" your image. I have had several occasions to advice new models or actors I have known to be sure to get very specific delineations in writing for the use of their image before signing a contract or release. The same goes for musicians I have known where I have passed along the old advice of "get a good lawyer before you sign a record deal and then get another lawyer to watch the first lawyer". The downside of protecting yourself is you can be tagged as being "difficult" for asserting your rights and concerns and thereby be passed over for work...

Besides, I don't think he was particularly whining; the "threat" of doing the soda ads and not charging "an arm or a leg" indicates a rather healthy sense of humor...

Sorry, I just can't read that line without cracking up a little. I think mookie's "Man the hell up" should simply be turned into "Nut up or turn in your man card".

If he makes the revenge ads, I'm sure Destiny will give him diabetes and rip off both of his legs.
