Default Father christmas/santa claus book

Possibly a bit late, but normally I read this book in xmas eve. To the english subsimers, do you know it?

My father bought this possibly in 1985 or 1986 for me, in a second hand book shop. It is a portugues edition, but all the places plus houses drawn are english ones, the last place santa visits is Buckingham Palace,. The first edition is from 1973, the author is Raymond Briggs!

Yes, I just gave this to my niece today for her Christmas. I used to love that book when I was wee.

Actually, scrub that, I still love it.

You should also check out another book/animation of his, When the Wind Blows, about an old British couple's view of nuclear war with the Soviet Union (it was written in the early '80s). One of the most haunting animations I've seen.
