Ok so i dusted of SH3 first time in 2 years, i decided to start a campaign realism set to 94% only thing i had on was weps officer assist.
I started the campaign in 1940 based out of Lorient in a type VIIB U-48 but want to get a type IX, realism was set to 94% only thing i had on is wep officer assist. This is how my first mission went: En route to patrol grid BE-67 spotted coastal merchant in grid BF-44 engauged at 1200 yards with deck gun, ship sank in 35 minuets. Spotted C2 cargo ship enroute to BE-67 Hit with two torpedos the ship was listing badly being swamped by high waves re engauged after 4 hours as she did not sink both missed the ship was unable to move disengauged due to weather. Entered grid BE-67 Patrolled for 19 hours and spotted a C2 cargo ship and small tanker engauged submerged as C2 was armed fired tubes 1 and 2 at the tanker and sank, tubes 3 and 4 fired at the C2 cargo ship and Sank. continued for a further 9 hours on grid BE-67 Departed grid BE-67 for home spotted a C3 Cargo ship engauged with 3 torpedos weather was very rough but all 3 made impact grid BF-15 Entered Lorient harbour 11 decorations to the crew, no damage to the U boat.
