Default What a Tory 'Plonker'

Quote:
Serious mistakes were made by Defence Secretary Liam Fox in his working relationship with friend Adam Werritty, Downing Street has said.
Mr Fox apologised to MPs for the controversy, insisting that at no time was national security put at risk.
In a statement, he said he met the businessman 22 times - more than previously stated - at the Ministry of Defence and 18 times on foreign trips.

Is "plonker" superfluous to the title?

I would've gone with "tosser," or perhaps "tosspot." For the alliteration effect.

Would it be better if I used the term 'foolish gentleman'?

Just take 'Plonker' away from the title and you'd still have the same meaning.

For Plonker you need your Peckham-English dictionary. It's listed under 'Rodney'.

Handy tool I would have never known what "I knobbed a juiced up pleb from the pub " meant without it.
