I currently run it with

Core2Duo E6700 OC'ed to 3.2 ghz

2GB DDR 800 RAM

Nvidia GTS 450

(I know I need to upgrade...waiting for the next gen stuff to come out so the prices drop on the current generation)

I do get massive slowdowns near port and any TC above 256... but other than that I havent had any issues.

Thank you for your answers mobucks and Faamecanic; in the light of your answers, as I have to make a fresh installation of the game, I'm going to try it all the same.

Pending the release of "the black ghost hunter", I would like to know if magnum opus and open horizons were compatible and if there is an interest or utility to combine these two mods.

Thank you

No problem Cigar... worse case is you find you cant run it. Being as Im on my 4th patrol and have had very few issues...I think its worth a try.

Happy Hunting!

That's it I began running open horizons II full.
For the moment I am only at the beginning of the game, I finished my objective's mission of "eastern british costal waters" in pangermanic campain, and everything works like a charm, but i know that it's only the beginning ... so, let's wait and see.

Humm...ran into my first real hardware issue ... tried to go into Scapaflow (Oct 31 1939) and it brought my old PC to its knees. In normal time I was able to function, but in anythng higher than 16x TC... it was BAD.

So with that said ...it is still playable. Just avoid Scapa I guess.
