Default Saggy Pants Prompt Teacher to Call Police

Seriously, what the Blazers?
This is bizarre:

The saggy pants saga knows no bounds in San Francisco -- and, apparently, has yet to end.
This week, a San Francisco high school teacher in the Sunset District called police to intervene in a dispute with a student, who "became belligerent and took a fighting stance" after he was told to pull up his pants, according to the San Francisco Examiner.
Police responded to the 2100 block of 24th Avenue at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday. San Francisco Unified School District's Lincoln High School is nearby. Lincoln High is the alma mater of Deshon Marman, who catapulted to national attention in June when he was kicked off of a US Airways flight at San Francisco International Airport for allegedly failing to follow flight crews' instructions to pull up his pants.
Marman was arrested, but was not charged with a crime after the national outcry. He has sued the airline, which has failed to apologize, and which allowed another passenger, a white male, to fly wearing purple lingerie. Marman, a student and football player at the University of New Mexico, is black.

SOURCE

Sounds like he's a known trouble maker.
Aaand, a man wearing purple lingerie?
Bad news reporting, why mention defendant is black?

Maybe the kid wants to be plumber when he finishes high school and was merely practicing the Plumbers pant sag. Must have been an interesting fighting stance one hand at least holding up the pants.

I say let them wear the pants the nature of the style of wear hinders the bad ones from doing what ever it is they plan on doing so in that light it is a good thing.

I understand each generation of youth have their own style, but I've never understand saggy pants. I've seen them at the mall where teens constantly have to pull them up so they don't fall down. What's funny is watching cop shows and seeing these crooks can't run because their pants are falling down...

So true though that it but one of many styles you will see I see just as many teenage boys wearing "skinny" jeans which look equally ridiculous personally I disagree with places banning certain dress styles all together so long as the person is not exposing themselves though some saggy panters are showing their skivies most of them seem to wear a pair shorts "under" the pants so in that case I see banning that as unfair then you are just banning something because you do not like it.They should nab ones that actually are grossly exposing their under wear though but if they go after pant saggers they should go after anyone else who is purposefully exposing their under wear as well.

As for schools that is a different story personally I think schools should all require uniforms.

What they don't realize is that sagging was how you used to show that you were gay and up for - stuff I vomit over.

That is an interesting one.I would think that a person that was gay they would probably go to a place where other gay people socialize.Further more we are all adults here and we know in a basic sense what two consenting adults attracted to each other regardless of sexual preference are going to be doing behind closed doors. You seem to put alot of thought into such matters.

Do those of us who are not gay need to wear an arm band that says "not gay not thinking of gay actions"?

You could in the presence a gay man and never know if his personality did not meet the stereotype of the girly voice limp wrist.

Maybe in your neighborhood. I've never heard of that one. Saggy pants are a "tough guy" thing everywhere I've been.

I was forced to put a lot of thought into it when a gay guy was overtly hitting on me at the mall one day - while I was with my (now ex) girlfriend.

@Sailor Steve

I heard it originated in prisons

What you may not know is that in prisons there is something called "situational homosexuality" look it up but do not ask any ex con about it because they will probaly not like it very much. Some cons of course do not take part and others are purely homosexual.

So because one gay person hit on you that had saggy pants that means that saggy pants are a sign of being gay what if he had been riding a unicycle then that would mean that all gay people rode unicycles.

Rather strange that a gay person would hit on you in the first place when he sees you with a chick seems that would be an obvious sign that you are heterosexual unless you display no affection with your girl friends or display any body language that implies you are together.Maybe you are unaware of your local "sign of gayness" dress code and he got confused

Most guys that I know if they got hit on by a gay man they treated it the same way they would a hit from a woman they are not attracted to and don't put anymore thought to it.

Did he pick you up on his gaydar?

Is there any particular reason why "I put a lot of thought into it" is often part of a statement that shows no real thought.

I have a couple pairs of ill-fitting pants, but, they are oil stained. My so-called "mechanic pants." they are the most comfortable pants in the world...

and I wear a belt

Now, in regards to the situation, I don't understand why anyone would take offense to being asked to pull their pants up. if someone told me my pants were falling off my bum, whether or not it was part of my style, I'd do it. Whats style anyways? You don't have to go out in a 3 piece suit every day (I would if I could) but, at least you can pull up your pants and save yourself some trouble...

Don't go out of your way to tick people off (like it appears you just did).

Isn't that the definition of a punk?
