Default Minefields in Editor.

Hi, I have been trying to create my own single missions recently, and I want to do some...tests with the mines. Problem is, I have no idea how to set them up, and when I try the mission they never appear. I placed them relativley near the submarine, but when I look around, nothing shows. Any suggestions? Thanks

Been some time since I've done one and not at the ME.

Drag minefield from ordnance
Set a waypoint or numerous points if you want a string of mines.
Right click on 1st waypoint, select properties, set desired radius of field.
Right click on your minefield icon, select properties
Select density, this is how many mines you want, use a number
Select your min and max height for depth range of mine.
Make sure your dates are correct, filter and spawn dates.
You can click on your mine icon, hit m, it will show you mines.

Think that is it, maybe someone can add if not.

Erm...well this is odd. I did what you told me, but now the game crashes on that specific mission. The bar loads all the way, then it crashes. Btw, I am running on v1.5, in case that matters.

Nothing in that should cause an error. Course, not sure what all you're doing in the mission. Are you verifying the mission using validate to check and correct errors? How are you saving the mission, normal or other?

Maybe this can help more with correctly setting up a mission. If a mission validates, but doesn't load, usually the problem is in the path or file structure.
