Default I Love it when a plan comes together :)

Hi folks,

With the Super Turms mod series you get the UZO to rotate to match the UZO bearing but it was also effected by the two scopes NOT ANYMORE! see the picture sequence below:

Attack scope at 210 degrees bearing:

Now for soemthing new AFAIK the scope in the CT also rotated to 210 degrees to match the bearing.

Whilst the UZO is 35 degrees:

and the Obs. Scope is at 60 degrees.

So all three are independant and don't influence each other as far as the direction that the linked model points. The UZO rotates as previous to match the UZO bearing but now only the UZO bearing whilst the attack scope model in the CT rotates to match only the attack scope bearing.

This will be in the next Super Turms release (v5.2?) when it is ready.

Edit:

1. The Type 9 version of the above is also completed and ready for me to test.

2. The only thing that I cannot change and it is a VERY minor thing IMO is that the UZO (when it reappears on the bridge after surfacing as I removed it when underwater) goes back to its previous bearing so, if you left it pointing at 45 degrees when you submerged then that's where it'll be pointing when you surface but you can now move any scope around as much as you like when underwater or surfaced and it won't effect the direction of the UZO model, the only thing that'll effect the direction of the UZO model is the UZO bearing and vice-versa .

I'm really pleased with this as I think it is a big improvement on my previous Super Turms implementation.

Best Regards

Aces
