Can't save game

I am new to Subsim. I need help.
I have a lap top computer running windows 10.
I loaded Silent Hunter 4 version and updated to 1.4 about a mouth ago.
All work fine, was able to save missions and get back into game later.
I wanted to add some mods and found Webster thru Subsim.
loaded deck gun and more powerfull torpedos. Worked great, thanks Webster.
Than I loaded ship maneuvering mod followed with crew fatigue mod.
When loading a game quick mission computer would exit game with an error.
SO I uninstalled game and reloaded game from disk.
I open game started a quick mission to see if game worked, ever thing good but I did not try to save mission.
So I reloaded Webster's Torp, Gun mods again.
I loaded a quick missions game and all went well until I tried to save mission.
Save screen appears but save & delete buttons are grey while all other buttons are white.
I need your help in trying to figure out what's wrong.
I do not have much computer experience so your help would be great.
