Default [REQ] Fogged up scopes

Here's a challenge for all modders. Can this be done?

"We went back down to wet the scope, now hopelessly fogged, and Caverly called the bearings of the freighter's propellers as she closed.

Both the surface mist and the fogging of the periscopes had resulted from the very cold water and the moist summer air here in the northern Yellow Sea."

from Clear The Bridge by Richard H. O'Kane

This would be "cool" to have in game.

That would be a cool idea, I only fear that it would just eventually get in the way.

It would add a new variable to attack plans...kinda like dealing with storms and rough sea.

There's also an interesting section on periscope repairs/maintenance and how to minimise the effect of scope fogging, which can possibly lead to a slightly damaged scope fogging more often.

I think the link is on UBoat.net.
