I remember the pirate ghost ship egg found within the sh game a ways back and ever since wondered why no one has been working on any pirate ship based surface warfare total conversion mods for silent hunter 4 or 5? I think this now could be possible just by looking at the Bismarck mod.. all we would need is a couple good moders & modelers to create a few detailed pirate ship variations & stations. 1) replace ww2 merchants with 1700 a.d. merchants 2) replace ww2 escorts with 1700 royal navy battleships 3) yank out anything ww2 related 4) create bridge rooms, crows nest & compartments rather then torpedos we would use broadside deck cannons! rather then renown we would gather treasure! I can see it now beautiful sailboats clashing on the waves on a voyage into the unknown Great surface war battles that take place when running into convoys Sinking & Sending merchants to Davy Jones' Locker feel free to express your interests or opinions & lets hope some of our excellent moders decide to take up this project. ![]() ![]()
