If its not something off the radioman's phonograph I go for the Das Boot soundtrack. If the seas are calm, maybe some smooth jazz. I actually deck gunned a Cargo/Passenger ship to Stayin' Alive by the Beejees.

Can't view youtube now at work

But I think I know the one you mean, the tune where they're buring books in "Indiana Jones and the last crusade".

I just called it the "nazi book burning tune" lol, I have that in mp3, I also have Panzerlied!

Oh, and I have a long way to Tipperary lol

(Which you can find 3 versions of it here http://www.firstworldwar.com/audio/i...otipperary.htm)

my itunes is pointed at my grammophone folder so there are around 6000 tracks varying from classical though jazz, rock, disco, punk, techno etc and all genres in between. Just like my own personal radio station. The randomiser takes a while though:hmm:

I'm new to the game (haven't even sunk a ship yet, 'cept for the tutorial), but I've been adding as many old-time 1930's and 40's tracks as I can find. I've been using the SH3 commander date folders to organize them by the correct date. So far I have about...100 or so tunes. Most of them I got from http://www.u-boot.realsimulation.com/ but I also got others from various free sites.

In fact, I just recently found this site (below) with old-time propaganda music that was transmitted over to the US, Britain, and Canada. It's Charlie and His Orchestra by Karl Schwendler. I'm not sure if U-Boat captains would listen to it, but it sets the mood for me.
