Absolutely the best of this cycle and should be used again in 2012 against Barry O.Saw it the other day and was impressed.Not only is it effective, but it's true.

It's a helluva ad. Poignant and scary.

However, it doesn't really address the problem we have regarding trade with China, and that is a massive trade deficit due to our markets being far more open to Chinese goods than vice versa.

They absolutely contributed, but BO et al have now spent more than W et al did in a far longer time frame. To blame the Republicans, the dems would have to have STOPPED the spending, not accelerated it.

Not inevitable but will take some work.

I voted early by mail and noticed on the back of the Florida ballot is a question of sorts(had a different name) asking if I would support an amendment to the US Constitution requring a balanced budget, I checked yes.

Perhaps we could see that happen, it needs to.This would be a great first step to solving our problems.Things can go one or two ways for America.We can stop borrowing and excessive spending, decrease government, pay some debt off, try to get some manufacturing going again and dump dangerous left wing ideology(they wont go without a fight) and go our own way to make this century ours instead of China's or we can fall and let China run the world. I seriously doubt the people of this country will let that happen, thus why there is so much resistance to Obama and the "Progressive" agenda.Things will not be easy, but I believe in the long run, America will be okay and this won't be China's century. Takes a carter to get a Reagan.

The British Empire fell because the Brits turned their backs on the principles that made them great? Jeez, I though that WW2 led to the fall of the British Empire, and indeed all of the European empires.

How is the US taxing itself out of a recession? I could have sworn the vast majority of us got a tax cut.

Massive changes to health care? You mean trying to fix our broken system which costs us 17% of GDP will ruin the country?

Government takeover of business? Yeah, I think we should have let all of Wall Street fall in the crisis. The world economy would have been so much better off now if we had.

I would love to see the voting records from 2000-2006. I would imagine the vast majority of the Republican party are not actually conservatives by your definition. It's a nice way to dodge any blame.
