Operation Weserübung - Queen Elizabeth

Hello everybody!

I've already gunned down poor old queen eliz with my torps (around october - november 1939)

What will happen when I get the Operation Weserübung mission? I've heard you need to shoot her down, but since battleships don't respawn, will I have to shoot somebody else?

I'm currently in decemeber 1939, so I'd like to know it before I waste 4 months waiting for the mission to appear.

I've also shot down the Royal Sovereighn and the Renown, so if those conflict with something let me know too, please ^^ (or just tell me which ones I shouldn't kill)

whether or not certain types of ships respawn (i.e queen Elizabeth or if you sunk a Bismarck somehow...) depends of a certain code line in your games directory (someone care to fill in the details here?). you can set it so it respawns the same ship over. however you dont need to sink any particular battleship in op wess, just A battleship. Any battleship will do.

Earlier versions of SH4 were notorious for having multiple respawning Yamatos (in fact, in one career I sunk the Yamato....6 times) so yes, you may see the Queen Elizabeth again.

I thought this was one of the things they had fixed in SH5....?
