Likely more shelling of their own soil like a pouting brat. I was convinced it was going to be war before. Not now.

I dont know ,I always look forward to the Engrish used in the NK announcements
"The military counteraction of the DPRK (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) will be the severest punishment no one has ever met in the world,"
or
"The Obama Administration would be well advised to cool its head heated with the moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK," the spokesman for the General Staff of the Korean People's Army said, "and deeply ponder over what the DPRK meant when it clarified its resolute determination and solemn declaration to defend the country and the nation."
I like the use of the word "clarified" in the last quote - I don't think the word means what they think it means when you read some of their statements

Am still waiting for the first bomb to hit their mobile launchers

Then again NKoreans already suffer much . . . . under their beloved leader. It would be unfair to force them to defend their leader now with their life.

As for threat rhetoric....from NK...well by now I guess no one bothers to listen anymore. There has been too many yet too little actions

Default What we need to do about North Korea

This is how we solve the North Korean problem. Since King Kim II is the King of the only Communist Monarchy and is grooming his #3 son to be King Kim III, here's what we do.

We make a big crown out of Brass with REALLY high crown points topped by Red Stars and hammers and sickles. We place the crown in a box with the following:

1. A letter Hailing King Kim II as King of the Communists.

2. A copy of Das Kapital with the passages about Monarchies highlighted.

3.A diagram of my plan to disinter the bodies of all the old, dead communists, shipping the corpses TO North Korea and hooking them up to electrical generators so they could power the nation while they SPIN IN THEIR GRAVES.

We ship the box to King Kim in care of the North Korean Army general staff with a note TO the Staff that says,

"King of the Commies? REALLY?"

German idom says "Klappe zu, Affe tot".

We must not upgrade these cyclic outburst by NK - by paying attention to them. Keep your lips sealed, and have a hand on your gun in case they do not just spill their usual accoustic venom, but start running at your position.

Flowers may say more than words, but sometimes a well-timed bullet communicates so much more convincingly.

I miss the days when North Korea would accuse the United States of "Brigandish Machinations ". That was the actual term they used in one of their propaganda messages under Kim Il Song.

We actually felt pretty good about that one. Brigandish machinations. It rolls trippingly from the tongue.

U.S., South Korea begin joint military exercises,

Seoul, South Korea (CNN) -- The United States and South Korea began their annual joint military exercise Monday, kicking off an 11-day drill designed to ensure the countries' alliance is "fully prepared to respond to any potential provocations," according to a statement from U.S. forces in South Korea.

It sounds like something Han Solo would get up to. Or maybe Cap'n Jack Sparrow.

Does anyone really take NK seriously anymore? I don't even bother reading the entire article when they go spewing more rhetorical BS. They've rattled the war saber so much, they've become the poster child of the boy who cried wolf. I mean, seriously, they've been doing it for decades. Whatever kim. Whatever.

^^ This. If North Korea didn't have a nuclear weapons program, no one would care. It's not as though he's going to use them, but now we have to watch. It's like having a television set where the only program is 24 hours of Days of Our Lives.
