Default [TEC] Can flag size be changed?

I tried to do this a couple ways, no dice.

One, I exported the flag model, made it a lot smaller, then put it back in. Works great until it animates, then it is full sized again.

I also tried making the actual image of the flag smaller in the texture, then making the area all around the flag part clear with an alpha channel. No dice there, either.

The sychromesh seems to pwn whatever I try to do...

There is a small artifact (looks like a single line of pixels) on the distal end of the flag, but other than that, it works...

This is actually just the texture with the alpha channel. Turns out I somehow didn't save my changes the first time---so the smaller model is not working.

A simple fix to how the flag attaches will be to shrink/move the new texture until the top and bottom grommets at least match the top and middle points on the large flag model. That should be easy, but we get a 1/2 size flag. Will have to see about the extra pixel issue (not in this shot, but visible when animated)

Got the extra pixel nonsense sorted.

This is an easy mod, too, though it does require deleting a couple embedded textures in flags.dat (the game uses an external texture, I think the embedded one might be a SH3 holdover---that's where the row of pixels came from).

They won't look perfect in terms of where the grommets are vs the model, but you shouldn't be looking that close anyway (there are also no halyards, etc, either, even in stock).

I was THIS close to modding out all the flags since they are stupid anyway (show me a picture of ships steaming in war zones with flags flying (that are at sea, not just entering or leaving port).

I still might, but they are more acceptable SMALL.

That's the size they have to be for the grommets to sort of line up---50% HEIGHT.
