netCDF gridded data to isobaths

Know any good program that can plot isobaths out of a GEBCO 30 arc-second grid dataset? Their own viewing software has a limitation for free-use. I tried NASA's Panoply but it doesn't detect any plottable variables.

Update: This looks doable (with a bit of a headache) in Quantum GIS with GRASS.
