A new captain on the official forums had asked how to figure out range and AoB, so I made a few pictures.
The thing to note about this is that it's using TheDarkWaith's code behind the scenes (ie, the standimeter works) and includes reaper7's very nice req manual that includes mast height. Otherwise this is stock. ![]() ![]() |

Does the stadimeter have to have the cross hairs on the waterline? If it's a split image, it shouldn't make a diff - it doesn't in SH4.

The US version doesn't, it uses a different system. The German version does.

well the hztl line of the scope also serves as contrast background versus the waterline proper, which on using will be difficult (dark mast on dark water), whereas with hztl line, dark mast on green background..
